As part of our commitment to expanding renewable energy access in West Michigan we offer clients the opportunity to purchase credits toward solar installation for low-income and low-wealth homeowners.

Renewable energy solutions are often not available to those most affected by our changing climate for many reasons. We want to be active participants in helping overcome the barriers that prevent low-income and low-weather communities for benefiting from solar, while recognizing that there is still a significant need for greater systems change.

Each of our clients are offered the opportunity to purchase credits for low-income or low-wealth homeowners. Once we have enough funds gathered for an entire system, we work with a local affordable housing provider to identify a qualified homeowner and install a system working along side the homeowners throughout the process. After the system is installed we continue to provide training and ongoing support to ensure success.
